As founding partner of BBG in 1984 and BBGM in 1987, Beer is responsible for the design of master plans, mixed use, commercial, and hospitality work. He is committed to creating spaces that are humanly scaled and environmentally contextual. His personal passion for all things “hotel” has made him a leader in the design of luxury hotel properties throughout the world, both new build and renovation. From the restoration / re-creation landmark St. Regis Hotel in New York to the design of the international award-winning Peninsula Bangkok, Beer continues to establish the highest standard of hospitality design for the world’s leading hoteliers. His other projects include Mandarin Oriental in New York, Hilton New York, W Union Square, and the Sheraton Great Wall in Beijing.
