Mary-Jean Eastman

Eastman, FAIA, MRAIC, IIDA, is a principal, director, and founding partner of Perkins Eastman. Her career has focused on using the potential of built environments to positively impact the quality of life of their users.

Her design innovation has repeatedly redefined state-of-the-art in several building types that are her chosen specialties including healthcare facilities, corporate and institutional interiors, and civic buildings. Integrating architecture and interior design to create architecturally significant public spaces, humanizing institutional environments, and rehabilitating under-utilized structures are central to Eastman’s professional practice.

As a design principal, her innovation has been recognized with nearly every major award for design excellence enhancing Perkins Eastman’s reputation as a leader in the design of programmatically complex buildings.
