Terry Dougall founded Dougall Design Associates, Inc. in 1988. In 1990, Dougall worked on the Forum Shops at Caesars and a series of renovations at the Stardust Resort and Casino.
During the mid-1990s, Dougall was commissioned to create three Sam’s Town casinos. By 1996, he designed the Monte Carlo Resort & Casino on the Las Vegas Strip. In 1997, the company designed The Venetian and Mandalay Bay Resort and Casino. The company completed the Borgata in Atlantic City and THE Hotel at Mandalay Bay, as well as the company’s current projects, MGM Macau and Echelon Place. Shema Dougall Design Associates was established in 2008 with the goal of continuing and expanding the legacy of Dougall Design Associates.
