Throughout his life, Beers has maintained a strong affinity for discovery and adventure. After graduating with a degree in architecture from the Rhode Island School of Design, Beers followed his passion for glass blowing and studied with renowned artist Dale Chihuly. Beers then traveled to Brazil where, as a Fulbright Scholar, he worked with the legendary Oscar Niemeyer. Following his return to New York, he joined the prestigious firm of I. M. Pei & Partners.

In 1986, Beers established Jeffrey Beers International. Since inception, the New York firm has produced a high profile and diverse portfolio of projects that includes award-winning hotels, restaurants, retail outlets, residences, offices, and nightclubs.
